Ado Matheseon

7:30pm - 10:30pm

Event Type

The ever-popular Ado Matheson was raised on the Isle of Lewis, where he retains close links, but in recent years, he has been living in the Orpington Area.

He’s a high-quality performer, a fantastic singer-songwriter, and a fine interpreter of others’ songs.

His voice and guitar playing complete a wonderful package, along with a delightful stage presence and an ability to draw the audience and fellow musicians into his performances.

Ado will be including songs from a brand-new album, “Hebridean Heart,” recorded earlier in the year with other island musicians at South Dell studio on Lewis.

From 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm, we’re open to floorspots before the guest comes on to play the first of their two sets. Singers, musicians, and poets are all welcome.

A hat collection in cash goes to the guests in its entirety. The suggested minimum contribution is £6, but please give a little bit more if you can afford it.

The club premises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 7.00 pm. It’s CARD payments only: free entry to OLC members, £1 to non-members.
