SOUTHSIDE SOUL is a locally based 6 piece Motown/Soul/Stax band.

Formally known as Streetcar(Band) they play cherished favourites from the Godfather of Soul, JAMES BROWN, to WILSON PICKETT, OTIS REDDING, MARVIN GAYE, STEVIE WONDER & many many more.

Trying to keep away from obvious cover band material their sets include brilliant forgotten gems & great songs you won’t hear covered too often.

So why not come along to listen, tap your feet, dance, sing-along & leave with some great vocals running around in your head.

We’ll be open to floorspots to start the evening with mics & instrument lines available for plug in & play. The main band are due on shorty after 8 to play their 1st set.

They’ll be a CASH hat collection for the band, please give generously.

The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 7pm  – card payments only.

Free entry to OLC/CAMRA members & £1 to non-members payable at the bar.
