Dave Ellis and Boo Howard exude class with Boo’s wonderful voice and Dave’s stunning songwriting and guitar playing; They are always classy, imaginative and engaging, enjoying the sort of close musical understanding which can only come from performing together for over 30 years but their performances at the same time stay fresh and exciting.

In support, Sheppey-based guitarist and singer Paul Steele plays a short mid-evening showcase set. Paul is a fine interpreter of songs with his own distinctive style. His gravelly, laconic vocals are perfectly blended with open guitar tuning.

We start the show at 19.30 hrs with floorspots strictly limited to the 1st 45 minutes, with singers, musicians, and poets all welcome to do a turn before bringing on Dave and Boo for the 1st of 2 x 40-minute sets.

There will be a hat collection for the guests in cash, with a suggested minimum contribution of £7 per head, but please give more if you can afford it.

The club premises and CAMRA award-winning bar open at 17.30 and is card payments only.
