We kick off our 2026 live music program with a Saturday Night Special showcasing aPopLexy plus two of our regular acts & floorspots to start.

“aPopLexy” have a unique sound built around the songwriting talents of ‘Lexy’ Marianne-Rose Tovey (Vocals & keyboards) & David Fowler’s musicianship (Guitars & Sax) with Colin Brunton guesting on Cajon Their repertoire draws on a range of influences, including folk, synth-pop, goth & the avant-garde.

There will be a mid-evening sets from popular local man Jimmy Greeves & friends. with rutty rhythms & vocal harmonies plus Edacques with Blues & Americana from Ross Jacques & Johnny be Baade Edwards.

We kick off at 7.30 with half an hour of floorspots with a PA available for plug-and-play.

We welcome poets in addition to musicians & singers.

Payment is by hat collection in CASH, which goes to the guests.
The suggested minimum contribution is £6 per head. Please give a bit more if you can afford it.

The premises and OLC’s CAMRA award-winning bar (card payments only) will be open from 7pm.

Club/CAMRA members enjoy free entry to the premises, and others pay a £1 charge at the bar.
