Our guests Broomdasher are a London-based acapella singing folk group. The quartet comprises of Richard Cryan, Deena Marcus-Jedamzik, Margaret Moore & Jo Swinhoe, accomplished musicians who have spent many years performing both solo and in other groups.

They share a love of traditional songs from across the British Isles, entertaining audiences with their arrangements of both much-loved and less well-known songs & encouraging audiences to join in.

As an extra-special treat the bill includes a mid-evening showcase from Dave Suich (Of Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain fame) & Steve Ball (Skinny Malinky /The Stevadores) who are currently working on a new musical project.

From 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm, we’re open to floorspots before Broomdasher come on for the first of their two sets. Singers, musicians, and poets are all welcome. Time is limited, but we’ll try to squeeze in as many performers as possible. So please be ready when called & keep short & sweet.

A hat collection in CASH goes to the guests, with a suggested minimum contribution of £7 per head. Please give more if you can afford it, they are first class acts

The CAMRA award-winning bar & club will be open from 5.30 pm. CARD payments only.

It’s free entry to Club & CAMRA card carrying members & £1 to others payable at the bar.
