Following the success of Andy’s previous Sat afternoon songwriting workshops, by popular demand, Andy is back to lead another session.

If you didn’t manage to get to his previous workshops don’t worry. These sessions have been designed with newcomers & beginners in mind as well seasoned songsmiths. So they’ll be something for everyone.

Andy will show you what he’s learned from writing 200 songs, recording 8 albums, having Mike Scott of The Waterboys just turn up at a gig after hearing his song ‘Whiskey Priest’ and much much more…. We will analyse song structure and harmony and collaborate attempting to write hit songs.

Bring yourself, pen’n’paper & perhaps a music stand… Plus If you play one, a muscial instrument or maybe just your singing voice.

If you’ve got a song you’re working on & would like to share with the group, that would be great but it’s not compulsory.

Free entry to OLC and CAMRA members, with a £1 charge to others payable at the bar.

In addition there will be a voluntary CASH hat collection for Andy with a suggested min contribution of £5.

The OLC premises & CAMRA award-winning bar (Card payments only) will be open from 12.30pm.
