Hull Trawling – When Men were Men & Women Changed the World.

This one man show visits the heroic actions of women from the Hull Fishing Community and, & in the face of tragic losses of life at sea, their role in changing the laws around fishing more in two weeks than governments had in the previous 100 years. Using interviews, words of the people involved in the Hull trawling trade and songs, Martin Woodford presents an eloquent and informative show.

It’s free entry to the premises for OLC members & £1 to non-members payable at the bar.

Additionally, there’s a CASH hat collection for the speakers with a suggested minimum of £6 but please consider contributing a little bit more if you can afford it,
