Fine guitarists, singers & songwriters Craig Minto & Andy Cornell are back at Orpington Liberal Club,
This time they’re bringing the full four-piece Thursday’s Child line-up with Matt Brown on bass & David Dickson on drums. With additional support from friends & local superstars Amelia Street, it’s going to be an OLC night to remember.
Both outfits play great covers but the focus will be on their accomplished & often overlooked self-penned songs featuring stock-in-trade intelligent lyrics, catchy melodies and tight harmonies.
Amelia Street will be on at 8.30 pm to play for around 40 minutes.
Thursday’s Child will come on at 9.30 pm to play for an hour, which will include the whole of their debut album, ‘The Beautiful Game’
We’ll start at 7:45 prompt with floorspots. Original songs, tunes, and poems will be especially welcome. But don’t panic- it’s not compulsory.
It’s free entry to OLC Members with a £1 charge to non-members. There will be a hat collection for the guests in CASH, with a suggested minimum contribution of £5, but please give more if you can afford it.
The club premises open at 19.00 hrs. The CAMRA award-winning bar specialises in well-kept cask ales from selected local brewers & Kentish ciders and is CARD payment only.
