Swans Vocals Duo is GAIL NEWTON (vocals & percussion) and BARRY EWING (vocals & guitar). Since getting together around 18 months ago, they have greatly impressed all and sundry with their superb soulful harmony sounds and increasing confidence as performers breathing new life into rock, pop, soul, and country favourites.
By popular request, Swans will be making their OLC debut as the main featured act, playing two 40-minute sets.

In support, there will be a mid-evening 20-minute set by Swanley-based guitarist and singer Curtis Savage. With a fine, deep, distinctive voice and varied repertoire, Savage reflects his love of 60s hits and 50s country – songs that mean a lot to him and that he hopes will also strike an accord with his audiences.

We start the night with floor spot opportunities from singers, musicians, and ports. This part of the evening will be strictly limited to the first 50 minutes. If you would like to do a turn, please arrive early on the night and keep it short and sweet.

It’s free entry to the premises OLC Members with a £1 charge to non-members payable at the bar.

There’ll be a hat collection for the guests in CASH with a suggested minimum contribution of £5 per head, but please give more if you can afford it.

The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar will open at 17.30 hrs. The bar is a CARD payment only.
