Sevenukes are a 7 piece ukulele band celebrating their 10th year and they’re coming to OLC!
If you’ve ever wondered whether the ukulele can really play disco, rock, jazz, pop and more, come along and find out! With a wide repertoire from Madonna, to the Beatles, Peter Gabriel to the Pointer Sisters and so much more, you are sure to have a great evening.
Sevenukes have previously collaborated with 80’s star, Hazel O’Connor on a cover of ‘Will You’ and covered a uke version of folk- punk band, Ferocious Dog’s ‘Broken Soldier’. You might even recognise few of the OLC acoustic night regulars in the band – Eric, Adrian and Lucy.
They are supported by ‘Two Thirds Of’ – a local duo featuring great bass riffs and beautiful vocals.
The evening is being held as a fundraiser for Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Maypole Project, in honour of one of the band members’ daughter. Tilly has a rare condition – CRPS – and is being supported by the amazing work at the hospital and Maypole Project.
Well behaved children (and adults!) welcome to come along too!
Tickets – £5 suggested CASH donation on the door (please contact for advanced tickets). Raffle will be held at break (CASH only). All proceeds from the event will go directly to the charities.
