Richard Rozze’s ‘Total Electric Guitar Show’ is not to be missed. It’s an affectionate nod to some of the greatest Blues-Rock guitarists of all time, including Clapton, Kossoff, Beck, Hendrix, Peter Green, and Snowy White… & includes original songs from Richard’s latest album, Lion.

The Rozze band consists of bassist Jonathan Noyce, who was Jethro Tull’s bassist for 12 years and a frequent collaborator with Blues Rock legend Gary Moore, plus drummer Simon Lea, whose lengthy resume includes Dionne Warwick, Ronnie Wood, and Boy George.

Richard is a phenomenal electric and acoustic guitarist, vocalist, composer, and arranger who has mastered a range of musical genres, including classic British rock, blues, jazz, Celtic, and bluegrass music. His acoustic guitar work forms a cornerstone of quality folk trio Open Water, who will be back at OLC for a gig later in the year.

The evening’s entertainment will include two full sets from the Rozze Band.

We kick off the evening with Open Mic opportunities, which will start at 7.30 prompt & be strictly limited to the first 40 minutes. The second half will start with a 15-minute support feature from local blues harp legend Ross Jacques, eighty years young & in the company of guitarist, singer & songwriter Graham Cousins.

It’s free entry to OLC members & £1 to others, payable at the bar.

Payment is by hat collection in CASH for the guests, with a £7.50 minimum suggested. But please give more if you can afford it.

The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar (CARD Payment Only) open on the night at 7 p.m.
