The last Friday before Christmas will be a Cracker at OLC starring the Amazing Mr Brown.

Paul is a superb musician and a consummate entertainer who will treat us to a selection from his vast repertoire of hits from down the decades. These include popular classical guitar pieces, ballads from the era when the Crooner was king, glam Rock Anthems, and lots more. All this is topped up with a sprinkling of your all-time Christmas  favourites.

We start the evening with floorspots for the 1st 45 minutes before bringing Mr Brown on for the 1st of his 2 sets.

Singers, musicians, poets, and spoken word artists are all welcome. It’s an opportunity to dig up and dust off your good ole Yuletide party pieces, not forgetting those war-weary, dog-eared declarations of Humbug.

Decorations will be up, and the CAMRA award-winning club bar (CARD Payments only) will be open from 17.30, selling foaming beakers of good cheer along with bags of Nuts and Roast Turkey-flavoured crisps.

It’s free entry to OLC club members & £1 to others. There will be a hat collection for the guests in CASH. The suggested minimum contribution is £5 but please give more if you can afford it.
