As a special treat, Open Water’s Advent visit to OLC will feature original arrangements of Celtic-inspired music to celebrate the festive period.

The accomplished Kent-based acoustic trio plays music and songs steeped in the British Folk Tradition, with Celtic and American Bluegrass influences. Lead singer Joanne Doolan’s unique vocals emanate from her Welsh roots. Jeff Alexander & Richard Rose play guitars and other stringed instruments. Jeff’s influences come from traditions as varied as the Renaissance lute & flamenco guitar, while Richard’s stems from rock, blues, & jazz traditions.

The evening kicks off with floor spots from singers, musicians, and poets. The guests will come on for their first of two sets at 8:15 p.m. Please come early on the night if you would like to do a turn.

Payment for the guests is by Hat Collection in CASH with a suggested min of £7.50. Please give a more if you can afford it.

It’s free entry to the premises for Club members & £1 to others payable at the bar.

The Club’s CAMRA award-winning bar is card payments ONLY and opens at 5.30 pm on the day.
