Liz Simcock is not to be missed. She’s one of OLC’s favourite performers & also one of the country’s finest female singer-songwriters. Her songs – often autobiographical & highly personal – are immediately accessible to audiences and injected with poetry, emotion & splashes of humour. Liz is an accomplished guitarist & also accompanies herself on bouzouki (when she hasn’t left it on the bus).
In addition to 2 sets from Liz, the 1st starting at around 8.25 pm, there’ll be a short mid-evening showcase spot from veteran local performer Robin Slater, together with Floorspot, to kick off proceeding.
Contributions from singers, musicians & poets are welcome. Please arrive early if you’d like to do a turn.
