For the third of OLC’s 2004 Tuesday Evening Summer Garden Gigs, we welcome back the superb FOUR GONE CONFUSION, with John and Di Cullen teaming up with friends Peter and Brenda Storer.
The highly entertaining East Sussex quartet play a variety of instruments, singing and playing a selection of very eclectic material, from traditional folk songs to classical guitar duets and more contemporary music.
Four Gone Confusion will play their set at 8 p.m. or shortly after.
We start with floorspots from 6.45 p.m. Singers, musicians, and poets are all welcome. If you’d like to do a turn, please come early and flag up your intentions on arrival to avoid disappointment.
There’ll be a small PA with mics and leads for plugin and play.
The hat collection is in CASH for the guests, with a suggested contribution of £6 per head minimum. Please give more if you can afford it. It all goes to the guests, who are a class act.
The CAMRA award-winning bar will be open from 18.15 – it’s CARD payments only.
It’s free entry to the premises for OLC Club members, with Non-Members paying £1.
In the Garden, we must finish by 9 to comply with the club’s licensing conditions. If it’s necessary to move the event into the hall due to poor weather, we will start a little later and may continue until just before 10.
