A very special night featuring the excellent DOVES VAGARIES: SARAH PAVEY & CHRIS EVANS sing songs & make music on an extraordinary collection of instruments.

Their wide-ranging repertoire includes lots of Old Time Music Hall Songs.

Their return visit to OLC, will be a Music Hall Theme Night, with local thespian CHRIS RAVEN taking the Master of Ceremony Seat.

To complete the lineup, we’re looking for singers, musicians, comedians, and variety acts. So far, we have Gel Ford, Sharon Stribling, Linda Needham, Peter Muldoon, and Paul Green.

A capable pianist or keyboard player would be much appreciated.

If you would like to sing or perform, please message Paul Green. Let him know what you’re planning to avoid duplications. It’s two songs each or the equivalent,
Chris Raven has some scripted routines & will be happy to assist if you’d like to take part but not sure what to do.

Period dress will be welcome but is not compulsory.

There will be a CASH hat collection for Daves Vagaries. The suggested minimum contribution is £6, but please give a little bit more if you can afford it.

The club premises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 7.00 pm. It’s CARD payments only: free entry to OLC members, £1 to non-members.
