In what promises to be a fascinating & fun evening, Dobbo, The Gillies, & Graham Cousins will be on stage together. Four accomplished singer-songwriters will take turns performing their songs, discussing their inspirations, engaging in friendly banter, & at times joining in with one another.

MARK ‘DOBBO’ DOBSON is an Orpington Acoustic regular and the frontman for the zany and highly entertaining local cult band THE ZORBES.

THE GILLIES: MARK EVANS & SUSAN TURNER, are an award-winning contemporary singer-songwriter duo from SE London. Their music is influenced by Americana and Folk.

GRAHAM COUSINS ‘Professor PicknStrum’ writes finely crafted songs and was a key member of the accomplished three-piece, acoustic, Americana, folk-rock band MISSOURI GUTTS.

From 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm, we’re open to floorspots before the guests come on to play the first of their two sets. Singers, musicians, and poets are all welcome. Self-penned material will be welcome but optional.

A cash hat collection goes to the guests in its entirety. The suggested minimum contribution is £6, but please give a little bit more if you can afford it.

The club premises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 5.30pm. It’s CARD payments only: free entry to OLC members, £1 to non-members.
