The eagerly awaited return of the ever-popular and wonderfully entertaining UK Blues Award nominee Dave Ferra to OLC to play a solo acoustic gig.

The Dover-based bluesman’s individual take on blues ranges from sweet ballads to toe-tapping tunes to make you smile with a repertoire encompassing 1920s spirituals & ragtime blues to urban blues of the ’30s & ’40s.

Keeping things in a blues grove, there’s also a mid-evening support spot from Tracey & Steve Lusted. with the mix of blues & classic R&B from the 60’s.

The club premises open at 19.00hrs. We start at 19.30 with floorspots for the 1st 45 minutes before bringing Dave on for the 1st of his 2 sets.

We’re open to musicians, singers, poets & spoken word. Please come early on the night & flag up your intentions if you’d like to do a turn.

It’s free entry to OLC Members with a £1 charge to non-members.

They’ll be a hat collection for the guests in CASH with a suggested minimum contribution of £6. Please give a bit more if you can afford it.
