Welcome the return of CALICO THIEVES to Orpington Liberal Club.

Popular local guitarist & singer DOUG FIELD teams up with accomplished musicians SARAH WEIR (Mandolin/ vocals), CATH NELSON (Violin/Vocals) and MARK WATERFIELD (Bass/vocals) who are on a mission to dress up in their finest stage gear, play and sing their hearts out – and spread the joy of American roots, country, gospel and blues!

The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar (Card Payment Only) open on the night at 7 p.m.

The gig is set to start at 7.30pm with opportunities for floorspots from Singers, Musicians, Poets, and Spoken Word acts for the 1st 45 mins followed by the 1st of two sets from Calico Thieves.

The second half will start with a 15-minute support set from veteran singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave King, who is a fan of classic country from the ’50s and ’60s.

Payment is by hat collection in cash for the guests, with a £7 minimum suggestion. But please give more if you can afford it, as the money needs to be split four ways.

It’s free entry to OLC members & £1 to others payable at the bar.
