OLC’s 1st Tues Guest Night for August features sets from two fantastic acts playing in the Club Hall.

39 FRETS combines the talents of Dave Suich (Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain) & Steve Ball (Skinny Malinky /The Stevadores) providing a vehicle which showcases Dave’s versatility as a multi-instrumentalist & songwriter.

MICHEAL PUGH is a talented multi-instrumentalist with a sumptuous voice who writes fantastic songs in the folk, acoustic & pop music traditions, with popular covers of classic songs thrown in for good measure.

We start the evening with floorspots, followed by sets of around 45 min each from the guests with a mid-evening break taken at around 9.
If you’d like to perform, please come early and flag up your intentions on arrival to avoid disappointment. We’re open to poets in addition to singers, musicians, and, of course, an audience.
There’ll be PA available with mics & leads for plugin & play.

A hat collection in CASH goes to the guests, with a suggested minimum contribution of £7 per head. Please give more if you can afford it, they are first class acts.

The CAMRA award-winning bar & club will be open from 6.15 pm. CARD payments only.

It’s free entry to Club & CAMRA card carrying members & £1 to others payable at the bar.
