Change of plan: Richard Rozze’s ‘Total Electric Guitar Show’ drummer Simon Lea is suffering from a back injury, and they’ve been unable to find a replacement at short notice.

So Richard is bringing along another string to his musical bow: the highly acclaimed folk trio Open Water. This acoustic trio is steeped in the British Folk Tradition and influences Celtic and American bluegrass. It features Richard and Jeff Alexandra on guitars and other stringed instruments and Joanne Doolan on vocals.
We can promise a night of superb music & plan to reschedule Richard’s electric show for a later date.

We kick off the evening with Open Mic opportunities, which will start at 7.30 prompt & be strictly limited to the first 40 minutes. The second half will start with a 15-minute support feature from local blues harp legend Ross Jacques, eighty years young & in the company of guitarist, singer & songwriter Graham Cousins.

Payment is by hat collection in CASH for the guests, with a £7.50 minimum suggested. But please give more if you can afford it.

The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar (CARD Payment Only) open on the night at 7 p.m. It’s free entry to OLC members & £1 to others, payable at the bar.
