Come along to Orpington Liberal Club to celebrate local Blues Harp Legend Ross Jacques’s 80th Birthday.

As a special treat, we’ll have two sets from a Martin McNeill award-winning old-school blues performer with a distinctive slide guitar style.

Martin is highly praised for his live performances, recordings, and online live streams. Radio presenter and music promoter Stephen Foster calls him “one of the country’s finest bottleneck blues guitarists.”

We’ll have a mid-evening support set from Edacques, with Ross teaming up with his buddy Johnny be Baade Edwards.

We’ll kick off the evening with floorspots for the 1st 45 minutes. Welcoming musicians, singers & poets.

It’s free entry with a hat collection in cash for Martin, who will be travelling down from Leigh-on-Sea. The suggested minimum donation is £7, but please give more if you can afford it.

The CAMRA award-winning club bar (CARD PAYMENT ONLY) & premises will be open from 7 pm.
