Huskies Night is a broad church set up by funding father Dave Silk. Singers, musicians, poets, and spoken word acts are encouraged to get up for a floor spot, either performing solo or benefiting from a first-class backing band made up of accomplished jazz musicians.Regulars include singers JACCI NORRIS & MIEKO KANAI, Guitarist SIMON GOODWIN, Pianist RICHARD SIMMONS, Bass player JOHN PEAD, & percussionist BRYAN BRITTON.Another highlight of these evenings is a raffle for a can of spam and other super prizes to die for, especially for Yuletide, will include a bag of leftover Brussels sprouts and a hat collection in CASH for the musicians, with a suggested minimum of £5.The club premises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open from 17.30 hrs. The bar accepts CARD payments only.Entry is free to OLC and CAMRA members £1 to non-members.
