DESCRIPTION:\nA welcome return of The Ashen Keys to OLC. A multi-instrument
 al\, multi-voiced celebration of heartfelt storytelling heralding from Eas
 t Kent.\n\nThe trio brings together Hannah Ellerby (vocals\, violin\, oboe
  and ukulele)\, Rachel Lowrie (vocals\, guitar\, ukulele and clarinet)\, a
 nd Vicky Price (vocals\, French horn\, accordion) – and their sound tell
 s of influences from folk\, blues\, pop\, classical and even early music.\
 n\nExpect to be taken on a journey through dark folk tales\, bittersweet l
 ove stories and reveries on nature\, all with lashings of vocal harmonies 
 and unique instrumentation.\n\nIn support will be a short mid-evening set 
 from Ian Petrie\, a singer-songwriter &amp\; guitarist who has clocked up 
 60 distinguished years playing around Kent &amp\; the South East Folk Circ
 uit with a current repertoire comprising of his own songs\, as well as man
 y songs he has grown to love\, always highly entertaining &amp\; veering w
 ildly between tragedy &amp\; comedy.\n\nFrom 7.30 pm until 8.10 pm\, we're
  open to lively floor spots. We welcome singers\, musicians\, poets\, and 
 spoken word artists. Please come early if you'd like to do a turn.\n\nThe 
 guests are due to play the 1st of their 2 sets at 8.15.\n\nPayment for the
  guests will be by hat collection in CASH. The suggested minimum contribut
 ion is £8 but please give a bit more if you can afford it.\n\nThe club pr
 emises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 5.30pm. En
 try is free to OLC members with CARD payments only and £1 for non-members
