DESCRIPTION:In what promises to be another fascinating and fun evening\, Jo
  Honey\, Andy Smythe\, and Joanne Girdlestone will be on stage together. T
 hree accomplished singer-songwriters will take turns performing their song
 s\, discussing their inspirations\, &amp\; engaging in friendly banter.\n\
 nJO HONEY is a Greenwich-based singer-songwriter\, &amp\; feminist. She's 
 a professional keyboard player &amp\; multi-instrumentalist. Her wide-rang
 ing influences extend from Roy Orbison\, the Carpenters\, Barbra Streisand
  and Kate Bush right up to current chart stars.\n\nANDY SMYTHE is a singer
 -songwriter\, guitarist\, and keyboard player who regularly performs as a 
 soloist and fronts his own band. He writes about his ‘inner world’ in 
 a Lennon/Bowie style and sings in a powerful and distinctive Jeff Buckley-
 like voice that covers four octaves.\n\nJO GIRDLESTONE 'Greenwich Nighting
 ale' Jo writes original songs\, connected to her sense of personal roots\,
  nature\, &amp\; spirituality. with willow strain guitar accompaniments\, 
 trained voice &amp\; warm stage presence. When not writing &amp\; singing 
 her own songs\, she's a working mum\, a playwright &amp\; a music &amp\; d
 rama tutor at Blackheath Conservatoire.\n\nFrom 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm\, we
 're open to floorspots before the guests come on to play the first of thei
 r two sets. Singers\, musicians\, and poets are all welcome. Self-penned m
 aterial will be welcome but optional.\n\nA cash hat collection goes to the
  guests in its entirety. The suggested minimum contribution is £6\, but p
 lease give a little more if you can afford it.\n\nThe club premises and CA
 MRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 5.30 pm. It's CARD paym
 ents only: free entry to OLC members\, £1 to non-members.
