DESCRIPTION:Three seasoned Singer-songwriters will be on stage together in
what promises to be another fascinating &amp\; fun evening. Taking turns t
o perform their original songs\, discussing their inspirations\, &amp\; en
gaging in friendly banter.\n\nFollowing his debut at the club in 2023 OLC
is delighted that visiting US singer-songwriter Paul Kaplan from Massachus
etts has accepted our invitation to join Kent-based Ian Petrie &amp\; Rach
el Rodwell to complete the line-up.\n\nIAN PETRIE is a singer-songwriter &
amp\; guitarist who has clocked up over 60 distinguished years playing on
the Kent &amp\; the South East Folk Circuit as a solo artist\, leader of h
is own band\, &amp\; currently a resident of the prestigious Dartford Folk
Club. His songs are always highly original &amp\; entertaining\, veering
wildly between tragedy &amp\; comedy.\n\nRACHEL RODWELL is not only a fine

il Ochs &amp\; Tom Paxton.. His self-penned songs\, which include “I’v
e Been Told” "Call Me the Whale" &amp\; "Henry the Accountant"\, have be

raid to rework old songs &amp\; tunes to reflect the way he sees the chang
ing world &amp\; express his concerns for life on planet earth.\n\nFrom 7.
