They are all accomplished singer-songwriters (with not a fool amon gst them) &\; will take turns performing their songs\, discussing their inspirations\, &\; engaging in friendly banter.\n\nADO MATHESON was ra ised on the Isle of Lewis in the outer Hebrides\, where he retains close l inks. In recent years he has been living in the Orpington Area. He's a hig h-quality performer\, a fantastic singer-songwriter\, with a delightful si nging voice &\; a fine interpreter of others' songs. He is at home sing ing in both English &\; his native Gaelic.\n\nFROM THE WORSHOP are loca l couple JONNIE TEMPLE &\; HELEN ROSEMARY 'a man &\; his suitcase\, a woman &\; her voice'. Expect stunning harmonies &\; finely crafted compositions blending folk traditions with soulful &\; punkish influen ces..\n\nFRANK McCONNELL is a seasoned songwriter &\; tunesmith who was raised in the North East of England. He's an outstanding guitarist\,with a discography that includes both solo albums &\; collaborations. Frank is well known for his involvement in broadcasting &\; has featured in b oth children's &\; religious programmes.\n\nFrom 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm\ , we're open to floorspots before the guests come on to play the first of their two sets. Singers\, musicians\, and poets are all welcome. Self-penn ed material will be welcome but optional.\n\nA cash hat collection goes to the guests in its entirety. The suggested minimum contribution is £6\, b ut please give a little more if you can afford it.\n\nThe club premises an d CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 5.30 pm.
