DESCRIPTION:OLC favourite Pete Morton is a highly entertaining &amp\; origi
 nal singer-songwriter with a powerful voice &amp\; compelling stage presen
 ce.\n\nHis songs express everything from the highly personal to the truly 
 international. Expect an engrossing &amp\; unruly mix of humanism\, politi
 cs\, love\, social commentary &amp\; humour\, all wrapped around the folk 
 tradition.\n\nIn support\, there'll be a short mid-evening selection of so
 ngs from Tone Deaf Leopard with their zany takes on modern life about such
  subjects as Urban Four by Four Drivers &amp\; Cafe's Serving up Road Kill
  dinners.\n\nFrom 7.30 pm until 8.20 pm\, we're open to lively floorspots 
 before Pete comes on to play his first set. We welcome singers\, musicians
 \, poets &amp\; spoken word artists. Please come early if you'd like to do
  a turn.\n\nIt's free entry to OLC members &amp\; £1 to non-members. Ther
 e will be a hat collection in CASH for the guest. The suggested minimum co
 ntribution is £6\, but please give a little bit more if you can afford it
 .\n\nThe club premises &amp\; CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the 
 day from 5.30 pm. It's CARD payments only.
