DESCRIPTION:This year's Late Summer Afternoon Garden Party at Orpington Lib
 eral Club culminates with a one-hour set from THE NATHAN PERSAD TRIO. Nath
 an who is famous for his vast repertoire of hits from the 50's 60's and be
 yond and a few of his own teams up with the equally talented Tom Monk (Voc
 als\, Keyboard and Guitar) and Reece Bentley ( Bass and Vocal harmonies) t
 o form a veritable supergroup.\n\nWe start at 1.45 sharp with 45 minutes o
 f floorspots\, and then during the afternoon\, there will be a succession 
 of pre-booked slots from outstanding performers on the SE London and Kent 
 folk and acoustic music scene\, including Swans Duo\, The Badger Band\, Co
 lin Brunton\, Steve Shorey\, Curtis Savage and Pauline Gaunt.\n\nKeeping o
 ur fingers crossed for good weather. But if it's poor\, the event will sti
 ll go ahead but move into the club's hall.\n\nIt's free for Club/CAMRA mem
 bers\, with a £1 charge to non-members who attend as guests.\n\nThe OLC p
 remises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open from 12.30pm. It's CARD p
 ayment only.\n\nThere's a CASH hat collection to pay the guests and help c
 over costs. The minimum suggested contribution is £6 per head\, but pleas
 e give more if you can afford it.\n\nAfter 6 there is the option of Pizza 
 slices and salad supper and a few more floorspots.\n\n&nbsp\;
