DESCRIPTION:\nLiz Simcock is not to be missed. She's one of OLC's favourite
  performers &amp\; also one of the country’s finest singer-songwriters. 
 Her songs – often autobiographical &amp\; highly personal – are immedi
 ately accessible to audiences and injected with poetry\, emotion &amp\; sp
 lashes of humour. Liz is an accomplished guitarist &amp\; also accompanies
  herself on bouzouki (when she hasn't left it on the bus!).\n\nIn addition
  to 2 sets from Liz\, the 1st starting at around 8.20 pm\, there'll be a s
 hort mid-evening showcase spot from veteran local performer Robin Slater\,
  together with Floorspot\, to kick off the proceeding. Contributions from 
 singers\, musicians &amp\; poets are all welcome. Please arrive early if y
 ou'd like to do a turn.\n\nHat collection in CASH for the guest with a sug
 gested minimum of £6. Please give more if you can afford it.\n\nThe CAMRA
  award-winning bar (CARD payments only) &amp\; club premises are open on t
 he day from 5.30 pm. It's free entry for OLC members &amp\; £1 for others
  payable at the bar.
