 ith's wake is at Orpington Liberal Club this coming Saturday\, 18th May\, 
 from Noon to 6 pm. Linda and partner Alan often sang here\, raised their t
 ankards and entertained us.\n\n'Hi all. This is Kate\, Linda Smiths daught
 er. Please accept my apologies for using this place to chat\, but it’s p
 robably the best way to let everyone know. As you all know\, my mum passed
  away on the 2nd of March following a long and complicated journey of poor
  health. Her wishes are to have a private cremation and no funeral. She wo
 uld like all her friends and family to celebrate her life with music and s
 ong. She doesn’t want any flowers or fuss and would like people to come 
 with their instruments and microphones and wonderful voices to entertain u
 s all on her way out.\n\nPlease all come and make this final occasion for 
 her a lovely celebration.\nThank you\, Kate\, Tom and Alan'\n\nThe club pr
 emises and CAMRA award-winning bar will be open on the day from 12.00 pm.
