DESCRIPTION:Impressed perform sea songs\, including shanties &amp\; also mo
 re reflective or humorous songs\, both from the tradition and from contemp
 orary sources. They sing a cappella as well as accompanied by a variety of
  instruments\, and are noted for their rousing chorus songs\, inviting aud
 ience participation.\n\nRoger Resch (vocals &amp\; accordion) is an organi
 ser of Tonbridge Folk Club. He is a near legendary figure on the Kent/Suss
 ex folk circuit playing bookings individually &amp\; with Bob Kenward as t
 he “Wealden Ramblers”.\n\nLiz Randall (vocals\, accordion\, concertina
 \, autoharp &amp\; whistle) is a long-term performer in ensembles around t
 he Kent/Sussex folk scene &amp\; also guests at East Anglian maritime fest
 ivals.\n\nWe start the evening with floorspots\, followed by 2 sets of aro
 und 45 min each from the guests &amp\; there will be a mid-evening break t
 aken at around 9.\n\nIf you'd like to perform\, please come early &amp\; f
 lag up your intentions on arrival to avoid disappointment. We're open to p
 oets in addition to singers\, musicians\, and\, of course\, an audience. T
 here'll be a small PA on hand with mics &amp\; leads\, for plugin &amp\; p
 lay\, if required.\n\nA hat collection in CASH goes to the guests\, with a
  suggested minimum contribution of £6 per head. Please give more if you c
 an afford it\, they are first class acts.\n\nThe CAMRA award-winning bar &
 amp\; club will be open from 6.15 pm. CARD payments only. It's free entry 
 to Club &amp\; CAMRA card carrying members &amp\; £1 to others payable at
  the bar.
