DESCRIPTION:\nIt's shanty singing time in Orpington-at-Sea (SE London NW Ke
 nt) with the return of Hog Eye Men\, who are Orpington Liberal Club's favo
 urite and almost certainly London’s Premier Shanty Crew.\n\nHog Eye Men\
 , who have a residency at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich\, will entertain us 
 with their huge repertoire of shanties and sea songs. They sing them as th
 ey used to be sung\, simply\, boldly and loudly. There'll be lots of chanc
 es to join in with responses.\n\nWe start off with Floorspots/ Open Mic fr
 om 19.30-20.20 hrs\, taking a short break before handing over to the Hog E
 ye Men\, who are set to launch the 1st of their 2 sets at 20.30 hrs. The e
 vening is due to finish by 22.30\n\nSingers\, musicians\, poets and spoken
  word are all welcome. It's acoustic-based\, with a small PA available for
  anyone wishing to mic up or plugin to play. Songs and tales of the sea wi
 ll be welcome but not compulsory. A variety of genres are acceptable.\n\nP
 ayment is by a Cash hat collection\, which goes to the guests. The suggest
 ed minimum contribution is £7 per head. With the money being split a numb
 er of ways\, it will be much appreciated if you can afford a little extra.
 \n\nIt's free entry for OLC members and £1 for non-members.\n\nThe club's
  CAMRA award-winning bar will be open. Real ales and craft ciders are a ho
 use speciality. The bar is card payments only
