DESCRIPTION:We kick off Mad March with an extra special guest night featuri
 ng sets from two highly entertaining &amp\; respected local duos.\n\nFine 
 finger-picking guitarist DOUG FIELD who gigs with American Roots\, Country
 \, Gospel &amp\; Blues band 'Calico Thieves' teams up with former professi
 onal guitarist &amp\; retired music shop proprietor ERIC LINDSEY. Doug &am
 p\; ERIC will also be joined by special Guest SARAH WEIR.\n\nDOBBO zany si
 nger-songwriter &amp\; front man with local cult rock band 'The Zorbs' tea
 ms up with partner in rhyme &amp\; an ace mandolin man GARFIELD.\n\nWe sta
 rt the evening with floorspots\, followed by sets of around 45 min each fr
 om the guests &amp\; there will be a mid-evening break taken at around 9.\
 n\nIf you'd like to perform\, please come early and flag up your intention
 s on arrival to avoid disappointment. We're open to poets in addition to s
 ingers\, musicians\, and\, of course\, an audience.\n\nThere'll be PA avai
 lable with mics &amp\; leads for plugin &amp\; play.\n\nA hat collection i
 n CASH goes to the guests\, with a suggested minimum contribution of £6 p
 er head. Please give more if you can afford it\, they are first class acts
 .\n\nThe CAMRA award-winning bar &amp\; club will be open from 6.15 pm. CA
 RD payments only. It's free entry to Club &amp\; CAMRA card carrying membe
