The quartet comprises of Richard Cryan\, Deena Marcus-Jeda mzik\, Margaret Moore &\; Jo Swinhoe\, accomplished musicians who have spent many years performing both solo and in other groups.\n\nThey share a love of traditional songs from across the British Isles\, entertaining au diences with their arrangements of both the much-loved and less well-known songs &\; encouraging audiences to join in.\n\nBroomdasher regularly s ing at folk clubs &\; festivals &\; have also hosted their own radio specials. All their recordings are in the British Library's National Soun d Archive Collection as "an outstanding example of grassroots folk music t oday."\n\nFrom 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm\, we're open to lively floorspots bef ore Broomdasher comes on for the first of their two sets. Singers\, musici ans\, and poets are welcome. Come early if you'd like to do a turn. Time i s limited\, and we'll try to fit in as many as possible. Please be ready w hen you're called\, and keep it short and sweet—this part of the evening won't be allowed to overrun!!\n\nA hat collection in CASH goes in its ent irety to the guests.
