Ross Jacques & Ceri James +Nathan, Vienna, 2 Chevrons & floorspots
Saturday February 1 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm£6
Local mouth harp legend Roscoe Jacques teams up with singer songwriter Ceri James to celebrate their shared love of Country & Blues music for a debut gig together. This was inspired by a musical meeting of minds one Wednesday afternoon at Cafe Dolce Vita in Petts Wood.
In support we’ll have showcase sets from 3 artists who are stars in their own right:
Multi instrumentalist & human jukebox with his encyclopedic knowledge of 60’s hits.
Two Chevrons Apart
Colin Brunton & Helen Christopher with their chirpy 50’s sound, vocal harmonies and domestic dissonance.
A new name to OLC but someone Ceri says we’ve just got to hear!!
We will also be slipping in limited floor spots to start… but with such a full line up, we really have to get going with the music by 8.00 at the latest and not go beyond 8.30. So especially if you want to perform please come early, and if you’re bringing an instrument to play please be all ready & tuned up when you get the call. The hall will be open and ready by 19.45.
We are keeping entrance to the bargain price of £6 but if you can afford it please buy raffle tickets or put a bit extra in the hat so we can least cover all the acts expenses. All the money will go direct to the performers with nothing taken out.
