Brian Miller & Open Gazebo
Saturday October 3 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Brian Miller, is a fine musician,an astounding guitarist, music tutor, and sound engineer with years of professional experience.
He plays great RnB, Rock & Soul covers from the 60’s & 70’s including some truly amazing reworking of Beatles Standards.. & look out for those spell binding jazzy chords & special effects.
Brian was packing them in with his celebrated Guest Sets & Ukulele Community Sessions at Cafe Dolce Vita Petts Wood prior to the lock-down & has more recently been delighting his fans with his evening sets live-streamed out from the Twitch Platform.
We’ll also be doing the community thing & welcoming floor-spots to take to the Gazebo & get the afternoon off to a flying start followed by a set from Brain.
The afternoon may be extended past 15.30hrs so there are more floorspots opportunities giving everyone a 2nd go & Brian a 2nd set.. rain, hypothermia & frozen fingers permitting !!
It’s FREE ENTRY with a hat collection for the performers in cash. A £1 temporary membership fee applies to non-OLC members.
The CAMRA award winning bar, running the mandatory table service, opens at 12 & will stay open until at least 15.00 hrs. It currently only takes card payments.. Subject to demand & staff availability it may stay open later.
As with all our recent outdoor events safe social distancing will apply with seats 6 metres from the Gazebo stage & seating 2 metres apart. Capacity is limited to 20 single people but we can usually go up to 30 taking into consideration couples & groups in social bubbles.
Chairs are available but we are happy for people to bring along their camping / picnic chairs provided they won’t dig into the lawn.
If you would like to reserve a place please message Paul Green on fb or email firstname.lastname@example.org (but don’t waste your time sending me marketing spam.!!)
