Pig and Porter Elders and Betters 3.5% A crisp, refreshing golden pale ale with a lemony flavour and a subtle hint of elderflower towards the finish. LocAle. Tunbridge Wells. £2.70
Musket Flintlock 4.2% A stunning best bitter which evokes a taste of an old English woodland, with shafts of dappled sunlight striking through green cedar trees. Flintlock will ignite your tastebuds with its spicy orange undertones and just a hint of marmalade. LocAle. Linton. £2.70
Rudgate York Chocolate Stout 5% A deeply rich and satisfying premium stout with complex balanced flavours and a warm subtle chocolate finish. Yorkshire. £3.00
Pig and Porter/Weird Beard Weird Pig 5.6% Collaboration with Gregg from Weird Beard. A California common, fermented with a lager yeast but at ale temperatures while the grist is Pale Malt, Vienna, Caramalt and some Crystal. Kettle hops used in the brew are Magnum for bittering, Simcoe, Centennial and Columbus in late on. Dry hopped with an experimental hop never before used commercially in the UK, EXP431. LocAle Tunbridge Wells. £3.00
Ilkley Summer 4.0% A dark-golden coloured, light refreshing beer with orange, citrus, mango and vanilla flavours leading to a dry finish. You could say it was sunshine in a glass. You could describe it as Umbongo for adults… Hops: Citra, Chinook and Galaxy. Yorkshire. £2.70

Mauldon’s Mole Trap 3.8% A traditional mid-brown bitter coloured beer. Well balanced beer with a crisp bitterness, and malty flavours in the finish. Suffolk. £2.70
Brew Buddies SH01 Mosaic Pale 4.5% We helped launch this beer from our new nearest brewer last week. Apart from 3 pints, we sold out in one night. If you didn’t get a chance to come in, watch our website and come and try it, when it is gone it is gone! Brewed with pale ale malt and a touch of crystal malt, this single hop beer is packed with the full on flavour of Mosaic hops. This beer exhibits multiple flavours from fruity tropical, mango and citrus to pine. Unfined. Swanley Village. LocAle. £2.70
Elland Pacifica 4.6% A golden beer brewed with New Zealand Pacific Jade and Pacifica hops producing hints of orange marmalade and black pepper with a citrus aroma. Yorkshire. £2.70
RCH Blackberry Slug 4.5% A variation on a traditional black porter. Full-bodied with tastes of chocolate and coffee, but with a touch of blackberry. Somerset. £2.70
Tickets for our August Bank Holiday Beer and Cider Festival are available now.
The festival is for one day only from 11am to 11pm on Saturday, 29 August.
The theme this time is that there is no theme! There will be local beers and beers from far away. Golden beers, pale beers, tawny beers, dark beers. Bitters, IPAs, Stout, Porter, Mild (hopefully) and probably the odd Saison. Fined beers and unfined beers.The planned list of beers can be seen by clicking on the buy tickets link below (don’t worry, you can read the list without buying tickets.
There will be live music from Orpington Folk & Blues and we are hoping for the Ravensbourne Morris Men. And of course we will be striking up the barbecue.
Tickets for the Saturday can be bought using the link below. Tickets are £6.40 each online or £6.00 over the bar. This includes purchase of your first two pints (you all know the format by now). A £3 glass deposit will be taken on the day.
