TONIGHT New beer from our new nearest brewery Brew Buddies from Swanley Village – and we’ll get a visit from the brewers

Tonight, we have the first cask beer from our new nearest brewery – Brew Buddies in Swanley Village. Brew Buddies SH01 Single Hop Mosaic Pale Ale 4.3%. Starts at 8pm and at least one of the Brew Buddies will be along.

Musket Fife and Drum 3.8% A Golden Ale which produces tantalising tastes and aromas of spice, honey, marmalade, floral and the merest hint of wild blackcurrant growing in the hedgerows of Kent. An ale which is akin to taking a refreshing stroll in the garden of England. LocAle. Linton. £2.70

Nearly gone:

Tonbridge Traditional 3.6%  Easy drinking and refreshing ale with a light fruity taste and aroma from traditional Kent grown Golding and Challenger hops. LocAle. £2.70

Pig and Porter Summer Stout 4.2% Something a little different. Summer Stout is black and roasty as you’d expect but with a clean tasting yeast and some beautiful resinous American hops that we think work particularly well in a dark beer. LocAle. Tunbridge Wells. £2.70

Musket Muzzleloader 4.5% Our Kentish Ale envokes the faint spicy aroma of well-seasoned, smoked cedar logs and orange drifts from this full-bodied bitter. LocAle. Linton. £2.70.

Salopian Hop Twister 4.5% The palate is fresh, piercing and focused, with soft malt overtones and pronounced citrus flavours. A strong focus of taut, lemony, grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness. Awards: SIBA National Champion Premium Beer Silver 2015, Bronze Golden Beer Category Champion Beer of Britain 2014, West Mids CAMRA Golden Beer of the Year 2013. Silver Best Bitter Category CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain 2012. The main festival is for one day only from 11am to 11pm on Saturday, 29 August.

There will be live music from Orpington Folk & Blues and we are hoping for the Ravensbourne Morris Men. And of course we will be striking up the barbecue.

Paper tickets will be available over the bar at £6.00 each soon. This includes purchase of your first two pints (you all know the format by now). A £3 glass deposit will be taken on the day.
